"Everytime you close your eyes..."

Here's one for the Paula Miester - the SHAPE OF THE DAY

BIG IDEA: to encourage the student to have a lot of fun doing things that involve a high amount of social activity

PLO's: the student will better understand the meaning of respect and play
-the student will relax in laughter
-the student will listen to insane amounts of indy rock and love it
-the student will catch up with old friends and experience "good times"

ACTIVITIES:
1. Sleep in until 2 pm with the aid of a "sleep mask"
2. Lounge around in pj's and eat M&M's before breakfast
3. Plan a trip to get out and take photos
4. Nix the photo trip and opt for impromtu BBQ at Jo's with the gang
5. Eat steak, samosas and - "What the heck is that?!" potato salad
6. Arrive late for Nexxus and listen to a talk on Disney- the corruptor of young minds
7. Skip over to Ethical Addictions for a London Fog and chat with Becky.
8. Run into ex "special friend" who is getting married next Saturday. Chat. Laugh about the good old days. Wish him good times ahead.
9. Home for a rest - chat again and look up flights to San Diego.
10. Recieve call and go and see a fabulous movie - Inside Man - with cereal box coupons and pal Tomjit.

MATERIALS: samosas, M&M's, a brave heart, and movie coupons

EXTENSION:
1. Use memories of a great day to think back on and smile
2. Take advice from J, J, and Aretha Franklin for a little R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

ASSESSMENT:
- Did the student experience a day of rest? Check and double check!

HERE's to 4 more days left on the practicum!
